to comment or not!

while i like getting a few favs now and then,i feel a little let down.im here at devient art to learn more about improving my photography and therefore the only way im going to improve those images is for people to comment on my images,sometimes these comments will not always be what i want to hear but that is the learning process and thats good and sometimes i read comments i love and thats good too!
when people come on my site,fav a shot and dissappear without leaving a comment,that dosnt help any body,why did you fav it what did you like about it?it would only take a moment to leave a few words comment,a few of my friends have trouble with english but they still leave a few little words like very beautiful etc that still shows respect for my work andi try to do the same for them.i think its a matter of respect and i will be making a comment on every image i like.

I guess it is a case of collating the favs and seeing from the viewers view what it was that is consistent across all favs.

I often fav without comment..., usually because most of the work I like is sooo excellent in itself that I feel to comment all the time takes away from that excellence.
